Branding & Customisation

Make it unmistakably yours

Every gift in our catalogue can carry your brand. Here are the six ways we do it — from a chrome-etched metal plate to a whisper of gold foil — and the finishes each one is made for.

Metal Plate with Chrome Laser — sample of a Sustaine logo applied with this method

01Premium, tactile, hardware-grade

Metal Plate with Chrome Laser

A raised metal badge, laser-etched in chrome

A solid metal plate is fixed to the product and your mark is laser-etched into it, exposing a bright chrome line against the darker plate. It reads as a considered, hardware-grade detail — the most premium way to brand a bag or portfolio.

Best for

  • Bags & totes
  • Portfolios
  • Executive gifts

02Understated & permanent

Laser Engraving

Permanent, tone-on-tone, never fades

A focused laser removes the top layer of the material to reveal a subtle, tone-on-tone mark beneath. There is no ink to peel, fade, or wash off — the branding is part of the product itself, which is why it suits daily-use drinkware and writing.

Best for

  • Stainless steel
  • Recycled aluminium
  • Bamboo
UV Printing — sample of a Sustaine logo applied with this method

03Vivid, sharp, full-colour

UV Printing

Full colour, fine detail, cured instantly

Ink is printed digitally and cured on contact with UV light, laying down crisp, full-colour artwork on hard surfaces. It reproduces gradients, small type, and multi-colour logos that single-ink methods can't — ideal when the brand mark has to stay exact.

Best for

  • Bottles & tumblers
  • Pens
  • Tech accessories

04Bold & hard-wearing

Silkscreen Printing

Bold, opaque colour built for volume

Ink is pressed through a fine mesh screen directly onto the fabric, one colour at a time, for a bold and durable finish that sits flush with the weave. It's the workhorse of apparel and canvas branding — clean, consistent, and cost-effective at scale.

Best for

  • Cotton totes
  • Canvas bags
  • Apparel
Embossed / Debossed — sample of a Sustaine logo applied with this method

05Quiet & dimensional

Embossed / Debossed

Pressed into the material, no ink at all

A heated die presses your logo into the surface — raised for embossing, recessed for debossing. With no ink involved, the result is quiet and confident, catching the light through shadow and depth rather than colour.

Best for

  • Cork & leather
  • Notebooks
  • Paper goods
Gold Stamping — sample of a Sustaine logo applied with this method

06Luxurious & reflective

Gold Stamping

Hot metallic foil with a luminous shine

Metallic foil is heat-pressed onto the surface so your mark catches the light in gold or silver. It's the classic gifting flourish — an unmistakable touch of luxury against a matte cover or box that lifts the whole package.

Best for

  • Notebooks
  • Gift boxes
  • Packaging
